I have some place to advice you to go, Chachoengsao Province, Thailand’s Sand Sculpture Festival.

28 November 2007 – 28 March 2008

Venue: On a field next to Srisothon Rd., Muang County, Chachoengsao Province (82 km east of Bangkok)

On the auspicious occasion of HM. King Bhumibols’ 80th Birthday Anniversary this year, the World Sand Sculpture Festival is being held in Thailand from 28 November 2007 to 28 March 2008.

The sand sculpture festival is divided into 3 sections:

• Sand sculptures to extol the King

This zone is dedicated to works related to HM. the King and his multifarious duties. There are many beautiful style such as Vishnu seated on Garuda, Chaiphattana WindMill, The Palace Walls, The Micromod Sailing Boat, Bhumipol Dam, The Royal Rain Project, Jazz Band, Mae Fah Luang Park and Doi Tung Palace, The Royal Project; it is the project for support the tribesman to grow country of cold weather plants instead grow the opium.

• Thai history and literature on sand sculptures

An exhibition in the dark with light and sound effects features scenes from Thai literature and history. There are many style about history such as Wat Phra Kaew with 2 Yaks, Wat Sothon, Luang Poo Tuad, Rahul, Battle scene with King Naresuan, Nang Nguek or Mermaid, Kinarees, Hanuman, Sudsakhon, Pra Aphai manee, Sunthon Phu, Chee Pleuy, Phi Sua Samut.

• The international sand sculptures

Sand sculptures representing famous landmarks such as Eiffel Tower, Big Ben, Statue of Liberty, etc. There are many sand sculpture of many country such as Germany; The Brandenburg in Berlin, France; Eiffel Tower, United Kingdom; Big Ben, United States of America; Statue of Liberty and Manhattan, New York, Italy; Coliseum and Gladiator, Spain; Flamenco Dancer, Australia; Sydney Opera House with local animals, Russia; St.Nicolas Church, Egypt; Pyramids, China; Chinese Wall and Dragon.
All of sand sculpture can create to like the real thing, if you do not know where are you go, you can go to this festival that gate fee is adult 80 baht and child 40 baht.

History of Balloons

According to popular lore, the Kongming Lantern was the first hot air balloon,said to be invented by the sage and military strategist Zhuge Liang, was in the Three Kingdoms era, Shu Kingdom, used airborne lanterns for military signaling. These lanterns are known as Kongming lanterns. There is also some speculation that hot air balloons were used by the Nazca Indians of Peru some 1500 years ago as a tool for designing vast drawings on the Nazca plain

Today, hot air balloons are used primarily for recreation. There are some 7,500 hot air balloons operating in the United States. Hot air balloons are able to fly to extremely high altitudes.

There are three main types of balloon aircraft:

-Hot air balloons obtain their buoyancy by heating the air inside the balloon.
- Gas balloons are inflated with a gas of lower molecular weight than the ambient atmosphere. There is a special type of gas balloon, called a super pressure balloon that can operate with the lifting gas at pressure that exceeds the pressure of the surrounding air, with the objective of limiting or eliminating the loss of gas from day-time heating. Gas balloons are filled with gases such as:

:Hydrogen - not widely used for aircraft since the Hindenburg disaster because of high flammability (except for some sport balloons as well as nearly all unmanned scientific and weather balloons).
:Helium - the gas used today for all airships and most manned balloons.
:Ammonia - used infrequently due to its caustic qualities and limited lift.
:O coal gas - used in the early days of ballooning; it is highly flammable.

-The wicker basket houses the propane fuel tanks and flight instruments. An altimeter, rate of climb meter, and pyrometer are standard instruments in balloon systems.


The Pattaya International Balloon Fiesta 2007 is a premier event to introduce and promote a sport of ballooning to Thai people, while celebrating the auspicious occasion of His Majesty the King's 80th Birthday Anniversary, 5th December 2007.
This balloon festival will increase the international awareness of the unique aspect of Thailand, the wonderful weather condition for flying a balloon and the unique hinterland - Thailand is not just a sunny beach but a beautiful and complex country full of interest to visitors

I had occasion to go to Pattaya International Balloon Festival 2007 on last Saturday 8 December with my family. There were many balloons from many countries such as France, England, Switzerland, Japan, Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippine, etc. There were let go the balloons in the morning and in the evening that on 8 December we arrive Pattaya about 1 P.M. so we wait for saw they led the balloons again in the next morning. In the evening, there were led the balloons: Balloon Night Glow that produce light, color, and sound, there were shows from singer and produce melody of Balloon Song. And it had let go the (simile) moonshine for celebrating the auspicious occasion of His Majesty the King's 80th Birthday Anniversary, 5th December 2007.

During the Balloon Night Glow there were set fire to firework, it was very beautiful.

In the next morning, we wake up early for wait to see the balloons, that there were many styles such as cake, elephant, dolls, spacecraft, bottle of Coke, dog, etc. There were many activities such as parachute, competitive of control aero plane, competitive of kite, competitive of motor-cycle, etc.

I want to share some knowledge about law.

; If a person has a gun or weapon, it means intent to kill.
Ex: intent to kill.
: Premeditated. (plan)
: Aforethought. (thinking before)

-Second degree.
: No premeditated. (Did not plan)
Ex: kill by negligence.



-Manslaughter.
: No premeditated.
: No intent to kill.
: Intent to harm.

It has 2 crime of manslaughter.
1. Voluntary: killing in heart of passion or committing a felony.
Ex: to be angry suddenly.
2. Involuntary: death by non-felony.
Ex: self-defense.

Motor Expo 2007 (24th)

I had been going to Motor expo for the first time, it was Motor expo 24th that established at Mueng Thong Tha Nee, challenger hall 1-3. I went with my friends on Friday 7 December 2007.

The Motor expo; there were many brands of car such as Honda, Toyota, Nissan, Pro tron and etc., many equipments of car; sound, wheel and etc.

When I went into this expo, I was impressive a pink car because I like pink. This car was the first photo that I photographed.

At Challenger1, there were old-fashioned cars exhibition from old-fashioned association and models of car exhibition from Mitsubishi, it had many styles that I never seen. There were less people than Challenger2 because it had many brands of car that has many promotions for selling and the important was pretties who were impressive many people. I like sport cars of Benz and Mini copper. At Challenger3, there were racing cars exhibition and there were pretties less than Challenger2 but I was shocked when I saw pretty because her chest was very big.

Merry x'mas

Christmas is the Christian’s ceremony that celebrates the birth of Jesus. In most places around the world, Christmas Day is celebrated on December 25.
Santa Claus will come on Christmas day and gave the presents.

For Thai people, there are celebrating the Christmas day and New Year day together. Almost everywhere will establish Christmas trees such as every department store that there are light in many styles like stars, Christmas trees, texts; “Merry x’mas or Happy New Year”, etc. Almost people will give presents to other.
I like Christmas and New Year days because there are many beautiful views in the evening. I had been go to Central World on November 29, 2007 that there was a big Christmas tree and decorated with blue lights in front of this department store. There were Holland Park that copied to like Holland; it had turbine, tulips, music box and etc. Next, there were three Beer Parks; Heineken, Sing and Chang that placed in a row start at Heineken respectively. I had been going to Beer Park for the first time with my friends at there, Chang booth on December 7, 2007. We choose Chang because Heineken didn’t allow persons who less than 20 years old, about Sing; there were many people, we felt uncomfortable so we walked pass two Beer Parks and end at Chang booth, there were people less than Sing and Heineken. My friend told “We downgrade from wealthy to lowly” it made other friends laughed. In the middle of Central World, it had another Christmas tree and the sweet house that made from real sweets, I thought about the story of sweet house that I had been read it when I was young.

At Central Lad prow, there were Christmas tree too but there was Peterpan’s land that it was from Disney story. They establish Peterpan’s land in the middle of central; there were water well alternate with pathways under this land, it like tunnel. And there is character in Peterpan story float around this land, the character named Tinkerbelle who is angle stand in front of this land and turn around.










At Central Ramindra, there were characteristic from Disney which named Sleeping Beauty; prince and princess were dance together and angel flew on the castle.

At Major Rachayothin, there were very big santa clause in front of Major, near the santa clause there were the bear land that was very beautiful in the evening.


If you didn’t know where do you go on last year, I guide you to go to Central World that in the afternoon you can impressive with the location in this department stores, and in the evening you can go outside of there you can feel the good feeling same with me.

Loy Krathong Day


Loy Kratong is Thai ceremony that celebrated on the full moon in November. The people invent the small tray made of banana, leaves, they called Kra-Thong. People place a candle and incense sticks in their Kra-Thongs and then float them on a local river or pond for apologize the goddess of the waters. Almost everywhere establish this ceremony such as; the temple, restaurant and etc.

This year, Loy Krathong Day is 24 November 2007, I went to the temple near my home with my family. There were many people who live around this temple, they can float their krathongs and make merit. There were many booths sell many things such as foods, drinks, toys,firecrackers,and etc.


About ABAC, thedre were Loy Krathong festival on Friday,23 November 2007, It was established at M building and C building. At M building, there were many booths sell many kinds of foods and drinks,for faculty of law they sell fruit water mix with soda that they use Raw-Ja-Ruad to be the named of booth. There were many shows on the stage in front M building, almost the shows was joke dancing. At C building, there were Noppamas contest and shows from many faculties or clubs. Noppamas of law won the contest, everyone in faculty of law were happy.







Before I went to Loy Krathong festival at ABAC, I went to Suwanaphumi campus to be staff with my friends because there was legal quiz that students from many high school join this legal quiz. My duty was hand out the questions to the students so I was tired because there were many questions and I had to walk and stand for 4 hours.


On last Monday, ABAC had another fair, it was AU Game that established at Suwanaphumi campus. My friends and I were cheer group for faculty of law. There were many contests such as cheer leaders, cheer groups, decolation stands, and etc. There was futsal championship between school of law and school of management. Futsal is a kind of sport that like football but race in indoor. Although law was lost by score 6-4, there were no one blame them because they do it fully.
